Star Wars: The Phantom Menace

Overall:
30 years before he and Luke board the Millennium Falcon and blast off of Tatooine, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) finds himself stepping onto a Trade Federation battle ship with his Master, Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson). In a bid to secretly end the blockade of Naboo, the two Jedi are hard-pressed to complete their mission as they are rebuffed by the Viceroy (Silas Carson) of the Trade Federation and subsequently stranded on Naboo.
With the unlikely aid of Jar-Jar Binks (Ahmed Best), the Jedi rescue the Queen of Naboo (Natalie Portman) and help her and her retinue escape the planet, so that she may plead her case in the Senate in person. In a twist of fate, the company ends up on the dusty planet of Tatooine, where they pick up one Anakin Skywalker (Jake Lloyd), human slave and podracer-prodigy who seems to have the potential to become one of the greatest Jedi of all time.

*hugs this movies tight*
For this movie, much love I have. Criticize it, you will not!
And I have to say that Darth Maul (Ray Park) is really, really cool and seriously under-appreciated. (Why wasn't he on the Vanity Fair cover????)
Dislikes:
Um...some cheesy dialogue? I honestly don't know. Will get back to you on this!
In Closing:
Not much to say except that Original Trilogy die-hards must give this one a chance. Try not to think of this movie as a part of the Star Wars Saga and you should be fine. Otherwise, hard-core fans will end up making comments that annoy the crap out of folks like me, who actually enjoyed this movie very, very much.
